P-38J reproduction control wheel. This is one of the rare exceptions to our "no repro" rule. We sell real stuff but once in a while an excellent reproduction wheel becomes available. Late version P-38J wheels are virtually impossible to find available for sale. We get numerous requests for the genuine article, and we know of many collectors that are actively searching, to no avail. Whomever did this recreation did an excellent job. From 3 feet away you can't tell it's a repro. Keep in mind, if this were genuine the price would easily be at least $5k.
